10/25/24: Midseason Huggy & Baggy Awards Plus More Bad Officiating!

We're already halfway through the fantasy football regular season, and we've got some hardware to hand out! We'll discuss our Most and Least Valuable Players so far, we'll make predictions about some guys in the second half of the season, we'll guess which coach is getting axed, and much more! Plus we'll discuss the injury names you need to know for Week 8, and review the film on Thursday night's Vikings/Rams tilt, which ended in the stupidest way possible! Guest: Cousin Josh (@DetectiveFisch).

10/24/24: Chuba Hubbard Film, Flexual Healing, DraftKings & More!

Chuba Hubbard has been a revelation in Carolina. Of course, the Panthers aren't very good, Bryce Young will start for them this week, and Jonathon Brooks is on the way. For today's Film Futures Or Whatever It's Called, we're evaluating Chuba with an eye on his career and his dynasty stock, because he's an unrestricted free agent in 2025. We'll also do some Flexual Healing to answer some start/sit lineup decisions for Week 8, we'll preview the Vikings/Rams game Thursday night, we'll play an awesome Cartavious-related mixtape, and select our DraftKings DFS teams. Big fun! Guest: DFS Expert Jake Trowbridge (@JakeTrowbridge).

10/23/24: Week 8 Ranks - Star Replacements You Should Use

DeAndre Hopkins got traded to the Chiefs in the middle of today's show, so you'll get our real-time reaction to the news! We also broke down a bunch of interesting guys from our Week 8 fantasy football ranks to help you decide how to replace your injured studs. Who are the leading candidates to replace Brandon Aiyuk, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin? Should you be willing to start Tua Tagovailoa right away? How about Jonathan Taylor? Is Alvin Kamara someone you should be shying away from? We'll talk about those guys and many more, plus we'll do a wonderful snarkbag! Guest: Scott Pianowski of Yahoo! Fantasy (@scott_pianowski).

10/22/24: Week 8 Waiver Wire & More W7 Game Film

Disaster struck Chris Godwin in Tampa on Monday night, as he was lost for the season on a meaningless play at the end of a blowout. We'll talk about that and also Marvin Harrison's lack of usage from the two prime-time games, plus we'll focus on the remainder of the Week 7 game film to go beyond the box score and make your fantasy football team better. Then we'll begin our Week 8 process by discussing the adds and drops you can consider, with a special emphasis on wideouts considering the injuries to Godwin, Mike Evans, Brandon Aiyuk and more. Guest: Scott Fish of FantasyCares (@ScottFish24).

10/21/24: Week 7 Game Film Review

An awful lot of injuries highlighted the Week 7 NFL action, and we've got reactions! Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel went down. Jayden Daniels left and didn't return. DK Metcalf is injured. We'll give our opinions on the big names who might miss time, plus discuss how their teams looked without them on a big film-review show. Also Russell Wilson and Davante Adams joined their teams' attacks on Sunday night, we got a big Cartavious game in London, and Ken Walker and Breece Hall might just be the Spider-Man Pointing Meme. Guest: Sam Gold of Sam's Film Room (@SamuelRGold).

10/18/24: The Offensive Environments You Want & Don't Want

During the summer, we talk a lot about not over-emphasizing offensive contexts when deciding whether or not to draft a player. But situations *do* matter! Of course they do! We're just not amazing at predicting them beforehand. Now that we're six games into the season, we have a much *better* sense of which offenses offer great environmental upside, and which don't, and we'll talk about that on today's pod. Also: a review of a sleepy Broncos/Saints game and a look at the injury names you need to know for Week 7. Guest: Cousin Josh (@DetectiveFisch).

10/17/24: Brian Thomas Film Futures, Flexual Healing, Mixtapes & More!

Week 7 looks like a tough one for figuring out the bottom of your fantasy team's starting lineup! Today we'll do our best to clear up some confusion on some of the running backs and wideouts you're making tough start/sit decisions on. Plus we've got a deep dive into the film of Jaguars rookie wideout Brian Thomas, we'll preview the weird-yet-mesmerizing Broncos/Saints Thursday night game, we'll play an incredible listener mixtape and pick our DFS teams. So much music today. Big fun! Guest: DFS Expert Jake Trowbridge (@JakeTrowbridge).

10/16/24: Cooper, Adams & Akers Traded Plus Week 7 Lineup Decisions

Amari Cooper joined Davante Adams as superstar receivers who got traded to better situations before Week 7, and we'll discuss what we think this means for the Bills, Jets, Browns and Raiders. (Plus Cam Akers winds up traded once again, back to the Vikings!) With this big news as our backdrop, we'll also dig into the Week 7 fantasy football ranks and discuss the start/sit decisions that will dominate your roster. For instance: there are a *lot* of injured running backs! We'll talk about the many contingencies if some of them don't play! Guest: Andy Behrens of Yahoo! Fantasy (@andybehrens).

10/15/24: Davante Adams Trade, Week 7 Waiver Wire & More W6 Film

The Raiders dealt Davante Adams to the Jets...and we only found out about it halfway through recording today's podcast! But we'll discuss the ramifications! Eventually! Also, we'll review film of the Monday night Bills/Jets game and several other Week 6 contests we haven't gotten to yet, in order to give you some fantasy football direction going forward. And then we'll also sort through a crowded and varied waiver wire to find the players who can help you bust into the win column in Week 7! Guest: John Daigle of Establish The Run (@NotJDaigle).

10/14/24: Week 6 Game Film Review

The Lions crushed the Cowboys and reasserted themselves as a top offensive environment in the NFL. The Falcons ran hog-wild over the Panthers are reminded us why their RBs are special. The Patriots and Broncos scuffled along with rookie QBs, while players like Gabe Davis, J.K. Dobbins, Cole Kmet and Terry McLaurin had great fantasy days. We'll try to make sense of the Week 6 game film by going beyond the box score and telling you what we thought of Sunday's action on film! Guest: Matt Harmon of Yahoo! Fantasy Football (@MattHarmon_BYB).

10/11/24: Hot Starts We Won't Trade Away & Cold Starts We're Not Trading For

Sometimes handling the fantasy football trade market is about the players you *don't* involve in a trade! Today, we're going to list some guys whose stocks are very high but we won't be dealing them away, and some guys whose stocks are very low but we wouldn't buy them. In addition, we'll break down what happened Thursday night in the 49ers win over the Seahawks, plus we'll list all the injury news everyone will be tracking as we head into the weekend for Week 6. Guest: Cousin Josh (@DetectiveFisch).

10/10/24: Your Toughest Week 6 Start & Sit Decisions Answered!

It's time to get those Week 6 fantasy football lineups in order, and to help you pick your final starting player we're gonna groove along to some Flexual Healing. We'll teach you where to cross over the running back or receiver you're considering at flex, depending on what level of upside/risk you'd like to embrace. We'll also pick our lineups for Week 6 in DraftKings, preview the 49ers/Seahawks Thursday night tilt, read some snarky emails and play a great listener mixtape! Guest: DFS superstar Jake Trowbridge (@JakeTrowbridge).

10/9/24: Jets Fire Saleh To Save Hall & Wilson Plus Start & Sit In Week 6

Garrett Wilson has been frustrating. Breece Hall has been a borderline disaster. Will the Jets firing their head coach change that, or does this come down to what Aaron Rodgers can still do (or not do)? We'll discuss, plus we'll dig into the Week 6 fantasy football ranks to find some key players you might be weighing for your lineup. Is Chase Brown finally a safe start? How about Cartavious Bigsby? Will Tank Dell step up if Nico Collins is out? Should you drop Mark Andrews? We'll talk about these players and many more! Guest: Jeff Bell of FootballGuys.com (@4WhomJBellTolls).

10/8/24: Week 6 Waivers & More W5 Game Review

JuJu Smith-Schuster? Really??? On today's podcast, we'll review the Monday night Chiefs win over the Saints and talk about how Patrick Mahomes is dealing with Rashee Rice's absence, and if you're a big fan of J.J.S.S., it's great news for you! That will become a major part of our Week 6 waiver wire, where you'll also hear us weigh in on some young running backs who have potential opportunities to shine going forward. Plus we'll review the rest of the Week 5 game film! Guest: Brandon Funston of The Athletic (@BrandonFunston).

10/7/24: Week 5 Game Film Review

Week 5 in the NFL featured some wild shootouts and some merciless slogs, and they all influenced how your fantasy football team performed. We'll begin to unpack the weekend's information by watching the game film and going beyond the box score. Did Travis Etienne just get benched? Is Dare Ogunbowale Houston's new backfield starter? Should you think about adding Jalen Tolbert after his late-game, late-night heroics? We'll discuss these and so many other situations as we work to make your fantasy football team better! Guest: Patrick Daugherty of Rotoworld (@RotoPat).

10/4/24: Players To Trade Away & W5 Injury News

Our trade talk continues, as we pick out some players we would consider dealing away right now. These aren't necessarily players we think are bad. We don't want to just give most of them away! But everyone is available at the right price, and we'll try and come up with some right prices that will make your fantasy squad better. We'll also review the wild Thursday night Buccaneers/Falcons game, and check in on the injury names you need to know before you set your Week 5 lineup! Guest: Cousin Josh (@DetectiveFisch).

10/3/24: Best & Worse Offensive Situations So Far & Much More!

We warn you not to base your fantasy drafts too much on perceived team situations, because we're often wrong about which NFL offenses will present elite environments. But now we're a month into the 2024 NFL season and we can legitimately start making distinctions: which offenses are wagons? Which offenses are disgusting? We'll give our assessments! Plus Week 5 Flexual Healing to help with your start/sit decisions, a preview of Bucs/Falcons, an awesome listener mixtape and Week 5 in DraftKings! Guest: DFS Expert Jake Trowbridge (@JakeTrowbridge).

10/2/24: Should You Start Your Disappointing Players & Week 5 Ranks

Few things are more frustrating in fantasy football than making start/sit decisions on struggling would-be stars. Should you run De'Von Achane out there week after week in what feels like a hopeless situation? How many more chances should you give Brandon Aiyuk? Is Mark Andrews a must-bench? We'll discuss our Week 5 fantasy football rankings through the lens of your toughest lineup decisions, and offer some hope with some player suggestions as the bye weeks begin! Guest: Dave Kluge of FootballGuys.com (@DaveKluge).

10/1/24: More Week 4 Film & W5 Waivers

Your Lions and Seahawks delivered on Monday night! Your Dolphins very much did not! We'll review what happened in the two Monday night games, plus we'll go back and finish reviewing the rest of the Sunday Week 4 film, including Andy Dalton once again lifting all boats, Aaron Rodgers taking a step back, Jonathan Taylor getting hurt, Zamir White somehow touching the ball 17 times, and much more. Plus we'll spin it forward and start strategizing for Week 5, which begins with a varied and deep waiver wire! Guest: Jeff Erickson of Rotowire (@Jeff_Erickson).

9/30/24: Week 4 Game Film Review

Big performances, big injuries...so much to discuss coming out of the NFL and fantasy football in Week 4. Jordan Love returned and put up big numbers, but it was kind of a Bortles! D'Andre Swift emerged from the grave and produced a huge day. Kyle Pitts continued to stink! We'll discuss injuries to Rashee Rice and Christian Watson, a backfield takeover in Kansas City, Justice Hill's big night and tons of other stuff we watched on tape in Week 4! Guest: Jamey Eisenberg of CBS Fantasy (@JameyEisenberg).

9/27/24: Ten Players To Trade For

We're already three weeks in, and if your team is in trouble, you may need to make a move. Or (thinking more optimistically) if you find yourself with a surplus of talent, maybe you can make a consolidating trade to push you even higher? On today's show, we'll make some suggestions for players we would try and trade for! Plus we'll review the Cowboys/Giants Thursday night game, and detail many of the injury situations we'll be tracking into the weekend in advance of Week 4! Guest: Cousin Josh (@DetectiveFisch).

9/26/24: W4 Lineup Decisions & Panthers Offensive Environment

One week later...and suddenly use all your Carolina Panthers? That's probably an exaggeration, but there are actual concrete on-field reasons to suspect that the offensive environment in Carolina *did* actually get better with Andy Dalton under center, and it's an example of how fast our perceptions of a fantasy player's situation can change. We'll discuss, plus we'll do some FLEXUAL HEALING for Week 4, preview the Cowboys/Giants game, play an amazing listener mixtape, and pick some lineups for DFS on DraftKings. Guest: DFS Expert Jake Trowbridge (@JakeTrowbridge).

9/25/24: Week 4 Ranks & Why Is Scoring Down?

It's time to start putting together those Week 4 fantasy football lineups, and our goal for today's podcast is to help you with your toughest start/sit decisions. Should you believe in Terry McLaurin's resurgence? Is J.K. Dobbins a must-start no matter what? How many quarterbacks do you really trust? We'll hit some key inflection points in the Week 4 fantasy ranks, plus we'll explore the reasons behind the lack of offense so far in the NFL in 2024. Guest: Scott Pianowski of Yahoo! Fantasy (@scott_pianowski).

9/24/24: Week 4 Waivers & More W3 Film Review

The Bills may be the NFL's best team and they crushed the Jags on Monday night. The Bengals may be the NFL's most *disappointing* team and Jayden Daniels made them look *sick* on Monday night. We'll review those games and the remainder of the Week 3 action to help you understand what actually happened on the field...and then it's time to start thinking about Week 4, and we'll begin that process by making some claims for the W4 waiver wire. Big fun! Tune in! Guest: Jake Ciely of The Athletic (@allinkid).

9/23/24: Week 3 Game Film Review

The NFL games keep coming, your fantasy football wins and losses stack up fast, and you've got decisions to make! But you can't make your best decisions without knowing what happened, and we're the only ones crazy enough to watch every minute of every game in the first 24 hours after they're played. Today we'll tackle the first half of Week 3's games to describe what actually happened on the field, not just in the box score, so you can make your best fantasy moves possible. Let's review some film! Guest: Chris Raybon of the Action Network (@ChrisRaybon).

9/20/24: 2024 Rookies So Far, W3 Injuries & NEvsNYJ Film

The Class Of 2024 rookies has been a mixed bag. None of the first-round quarterbacks have played great, the highly regarded receivers have made some noise but not quite become undeniable, and the only rookie running back who's really popped wasn't really even expected to play that much this year. On today's pod, we'll discuss the rookies so far in '24, plus we'll review the Jets' easy victory over the Patriots and run down the many, many injury situations we have to worry about as we assemble our Week 3 lineups. Guest: Matt Waldman from FootballGuys.com and the Rookie Scouting Portfolio (@MattWaldman).

9/19/24: Picking Your W3 Flex, Snarkbag, NEvNYJ Preview & More!

You need help with that last piece in your Week 3 fantasy lineup? You've got one more killer start/sit decision facing you? We'll do our best to help! It's time for Flexual Healing in which we answer your most-asked-about flex questions. We'll also pick our DraftKings DFS lineups for Week 3, preview the Thursday night Patriots/Jets tilt, read some snarky email and play a wonderful mixtape. So much fun! Ya gotta listen! Guest: DFS Expert Jake Trowbridge (@JakeTrowbridge).

9/18/24: Week 3 Lineup Construction & Massive Injuries

It's been a rough couple weeks for some huge fantasy football names, and that will certainly affect your Week 3 lineups. We'll talk starts and sits on today's podcast, trying to account for the issues facing Isiah Pacheco, A.J. Brown, Deebo Samuel, Joe Mixon and many more injury-saddled players. Plus we'll weigh in on what you should do with your Dolphins and Bears given the potential struggles ahead for those supposedly high-octane offenses, and much more. Don't make your Week 3 fantasy lineups without listening! Guest: Andy Behrens of Yahoo! Fantasy (@andybehrens).

9/17/24: Week 3 Waivers & More W2 Film

Isiah Pacheco, Deebo Samuel, Cooper Kupp, Joe Mixon...they're all injured to varying degrees, and you may need replacements! Well, we've got some recommendations in our Week 3 waiver wire segement. Also: we'll review the rest of the Week 2 game film including the Falcons' comeback Monday night against the Eagles, Josh Jacobs continuing to look amazing, Davante Adams going off, Brian Thomas making another big play and much more! Guest: Scott Fish of Fantasy Cares (@ScottFish24).

9/16/24: Week 2 Game Film Review

Alvin Kamara went crazy! So did Marvin Harrison! It was a weekend of wild swings and fantasy football panic, and we'll start digesting it by watching the games and describing what we saw. Are the Saints and Cardinals suddenly both offensive wagons now? Are the Giants fully committed to throwing Malik Nabers the ball on every play? Is J.K. Dobbins finally going to be the running back we always hoped for? We'll talk about these questions and so many more! Guest: Sam Gold of Sam's Film Room (@SamuelRGold).

9/13/24: Tua's Injury & Players We've Already Changed Our Minds On

Thursday night was a blowout, but that's not what anyone's talking about. The Dolphins offense took a potentially lethal blow when Tua Tagovailoa suffered another concussion, which is a huge bummer. We'll talk it through, plus we'll check in on the other Week 2 injury news you need to know, and we'll perform a little Overreaction Theater by listing players we've already changed our minds on after just one game. Guest: Jim McCormick of ESPN (@_JimmyMcCormick).

9/12/24: Puka's Injury, Dolphins Backfield, Flexual Healing & More

Puka Nacua being placed on IR and potentially being out for a lot longer than just a month is a great example of how unpredictable all this stuff is. Wasn't that supposed to be Cooper Kupp!?!?! We'll talk about it, and then we'll help you start building those Week 2 fantasy lineups with some flex talk. Also let's preview the Bills visiting the Dolphins on Thursday night, play another incredible mixtape, and then pick some DFS DraftKings teams. Big fun! Come on in! Guest: DFS Expert Jake Trowbridge (@JakeTrowbridge).

9/11/24: Week 2 Ranks

Our mind palaces are shattered! So many of the arguments we made to construct our draft strategies have been rendered moot! And yet somehow we must persist, and that begins with figuring out who to start and who to sit for our Week 2 fantasy football lineups. We'll find some players who had "interesting" Week 1s and discuss how we're ranking them for Week 2, including what to do with the Dolphins backfield and the Bears receiving game. It's time for some Week 2 ranks talk! Guest: Jeff Bell of FootballGuys.com (@4WhomJBellTolls).

9/10/24: Week 2 Waivers & More W1 Game Film Review

Jordan Mason is the new Christian McCaffrey! Okay, maybe not really. But that 49ers RB spot sure is valuable, and Mason proved it on Monday night. We'll review that game film, and then also discuss the rest of the Week 1 tape, including a review of rookie WRs Marvin Harrison, Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas, what in the world is going on with Bryce Young, Jayden Daniels's first starting effort and much more. Plus we'll run down the waiver-wire names you should be considering for Week 2. Guest: John Daigle of Establish The Run (@NotJDaigle).

9/9/24: Week 1 Game Film Review

It's time! This is where our podcast makes a difference, because we watch the games and tell you what we saw! Today we'll dig into the first career starts for Caleb Williams and Bo Nix (not good!), the Bengals looking hapless, the Browns looking broken, Joe Mixon and Saquon Barkley rising to the occasion, Zamir White sinking to the ocean floor, and tons of other NFL storylines that matter. Go beyond the box score with us! Guest: Matt Harmon of Yahoo! Fantasy (@MattHarmon_BYB).

9/6/24: BALvKC Wild Finish & Predicting Best And Worst Offensive Situations

Well, that was electric. The Chiefs beat the Ravens in a heart-stopping season opener that featured some legit fantasy football drama. What's up with Mark Andrews and Travis Kelce? Is Isaiah Likely gonna be a thing? What about Derrick Henry's usage? And that Baltimore offensive line? We'll review the tape from the Thursday night opener! Plus we'll predict the league's best and worst offensive situations before the season begins, to see how good we are at knowing the environments that make players must-draft or stay-away. Welcome to football! Guest: Cousin Josh (@DetectiveFisch).

9/5/24: Flexual Healing, Preview Ravens & Chiefs And Much More

It's finally here! Opening night! It's exciting for fantasy football purposes, but it's also just exciting, because NFL games are cool! We'll preview Ravens/Chiefs, we'll set our DraftKings lineups, we'll reflect on starting our *10th* season, and we'll perform the first Flexual Healing ritual of the year, where we answer your most pressing flex questions. Let's go! It's finally time! Guest: DFS Expert Jake Trowbridge (@JakeTrowbridge).

9/4/24: Week 1 Lineup Construction Advice

You're putting together you're Week 1 lineup. Hopefully you're pretty happy with how your fantasy draft went. Then maybe don't undo all your good work by tinkering too much! Our general advice for Week 1 is going to be: don't play too many matchups, don't get too worried about player roles, and don't freak out about snap counts. But are there exceptions to these rules here in 2024? We'll discuss -- plus we'll weigh in on some starting running backs who'll apparently be returning punts and kicks! Guest: Dave Kluge of FootballGuys.com (@DaveKluge).

9/3/24: Week 1 Waivers & Players We Drafted Most

Would you believe the NFL regular season games start this week? Finally! We've just about drafted all of our teams, and it's time to start thinking about roster management. Clearly, we don't want you to make *too* many huge changes on the Week 1 waiver wire, but if you've got some IR guys you're planning on reserving, we've got some ideas for interesting names to add. We'll also sift through all our drafts and discover the players we selected most, plus do a SnarkBag and a great listener mixtape! Guest: Brandon Funston of The Athletic (@BrandonFunston).
